Alaska, SE1 (Bermondsey)

Alaska is the former Martin’s fur factory in Bermondsey. The building is art-deco in style and was originally designed by the famous architect, Thomas Wallis, renowned for the Hoover (now Tesco HQ) and Firestone (demolished) buildings.

The 60 apartments in phase 1 of this award winning development were all sold off plan in 3 months. The development is notable for being the first significant regeneration project in this part of London and has contributed to Bermondsey’s recent renaissance as an urban location in which to live.
